Peter Neptune MS is a 25 year veteran of the wine business, beginning as a sommelier in New York City, where he trained and worked for 10 years. Upon returning to his native California, he entered into the wholesale wine trade, eventually joining the Henry Wine Group, where for ten years he has been the Senior Vice President of Corporate Training and Wine Education, a role in which he trains and educates the HWG management and sales force in six states, as well as restaurant and retail staff in the marketplace.

Recipient of the Banfi Award for Excellence in 2003, he also holds the title of Certified Wine Educator with the Society of Wine Educators, has a Diploma in Wine and Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London, and is an Associate of the Institute of Wines and Spirits.
